Heather Dacey Wright

I’m a University of Washington Husky through and through! I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics from the UW in 1991. I returned several years later to attend graduate school, graduating in 1995 with both a Master’s Degree in Professional Accounting (MPAcc) in Taxation, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I have a broad range of tax and accounting experience. I started my career in 1995 working for one of the “Big 4” public accounting firms, KPMG Peat Marwick, where I worked for 2 years with an extensive group of clients varying from high-wealth individuals to large corporations.

In 1997 I moved to private industry, working in the corporate tax departments at GE Capital Business Asset Funding Corporation (formerly MetLife Capital Corp.), AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., and Holland America Line. My focus in these positions was federal and state income tax compliance for large consolidated multi-state corporations. As the Tax Manager at Holland America, I also managed all tax fixed assets, and was integrally involved in the planning and implementation of the Oracle Fixed Assets module, as well as the implementation of tax preparation software (InSource RS).

Moving back to public accounting in 2007, I joined my husband Rob’s firm, Wright, PLLC. We are a full-service tax consulting firm specializing in worldwide tax compliance and consulting for high technology businesses and high-wealth individuals.

Married with two kids and one cat, my personal interests include world travel, photography, nutrition, and reading.
